Geoffrey, this is gorgeous.

The twin images of her forehead against yours as a child, yours against hers in her final moments will stay with me like wings.

Such a well told story. I especially loved hearing about her 'sharp edges'. We all have them and yet at a funeral the person was just warm and lovely from the very beginning to the end. Such a lie. they were also human

What a beautiful piece. So many huge things carefully and skillfully folded into the telling. A lifetime in a few lines, yet not diminished but intimate and familiar. Quite lovely. Thank you Geoffrey, I enjoyed that a lot.
